• I can strongly recommend Nate Prather at Opes Real Estate. I found Nate by calling about a property he was the listing agent for as a potential studio space for my family portrait studio. In about 5 minutes of listening to my needs Nate told me the property wasn’t a fit but he could help me find a place that was as a broker agent. The next day I had about 60 properties in my inbox. I’ll admit, I was skeptical of what a brokerage agent can do for me. After all, an agent is paid their commission by the people listing the property, not me. So in the end they are not working for you. The other worry is I was going to be treated less than first class because my needs were minimal and my budget wasn’t Country Club Plaza-ish. I did not want to be treated like a small fish. I was wrong on all counts. I had my attorney look over the leasing agreement, a step Nate encouraged me to do and was enthusiastic about. After some back and forth an nonchalance from the listing agents, Nate went to bat for me several times getting these people moving. He also went to battle over a clause in the contract both he and my attorney did not like and took the time to explain it to me. This wasn’t just about him getting a commission he wanted it to be genuinely right for me and my business. I am very impressed. Not bad for a guy I called out of the blue from a Loop listing.

  • “OPES’ knowledge of the market allowed our non-profit organization to lease space that was ideal for our needs and a good fit for our budget. I recommend OPES and look forward to working with them in the future.”
