Chris Binkley

Managing Director

Chris Binkley serves as Managing Director of Opes Commercial Real Estate, where he oversees brokerage operations alongside Principal Chuck Cuda. Born in Chicago but raised in Liberty since first grade, Chris focuses on industrial, office, and retail properties throughout the Kansas City metro, working primarily with local business owners and investment property owners.

Chris entered the commercial real estate industry in 2019 by taking a role at locally based commercial real estate investment firm where he rose from Strategic Partnerships Manager to Director of Strategic Capital. His experience spans acquisitions and dispositions across multiple asset classes, with additional expertise in capital markets, private equity, asset management, underwriting, and investor relations. At his core, Chris is a builder – he’s energized by creating and building up new relationships, companies, and processes that make clients feel well-served.

Outside the office, Chris enjoys skiing, hiking, coffee, deep conversations and spending time with his beloved wife and two kids, Theo and Ellie. Chris and his family are active members of Christ Church Anglican (the Mission congregation) where he also serves and volunteers.  Two fun facts about Chris? He is a graduate of the KC Chamber Centurions Leadership Program (Fall of 2022) and honored as a “20 To Know” in CRE by the KCBJ.
